The Goals, Rules and Rituals signify standards we want to achieve. In the beginning of our D/s relationship we wrote out goals for each other and ourselves. These goals shaped the rules we live by everyday. They are goals of obedience, servitude and love. Another addition to lily's obedience is rituals. She must do these when a situation arises. Rituals are important to D/s couples. These are our personal standards and we respect that others may not understand them.
We do go back to the drawing board from time to time to see why a rule is not working (consistency, not needed etc...) and we also add more rituals and re-read our goals to see if we are achieving them.
